The Final Two Recipes

Recipe 4. An herbal compress to relieve the eyes for use every night, with the objective of reducing puffiness. In a pot of boiling water, place some steep sage leaves (chamonille or dill are ok also). Let them soak for around 12 minutes. After straining off the liquid, separate the liquid in two separate containers. Put one container in the refrigerator or freezer to get cold. Use a ball of some absorbent cotton, soak in both the cold and warm solutions, and apply the warm solution for 12 minutes, then the cold solution for another 12 minutes.

Recipe 5. In this final recipe we combine some tomato puree, orange lentil flour, lemon juice, and tumeric powder and mix then together into a paste. Then apply the results on the dark circles under the eye for 15 minutes before rinsing it off. This is a very good, if not the best eye wrinkle cream, that can also lighten dark circles under the eyes.

These home-made recipes should work as good or better than the antiaging cream you currently like to use. Use of any of these will eliminate the need for you to be seen in public with those unsightly dark areas under your eyes.
I will continue speaking about the use of antiaging cream in my next blog. If you would like to know more now, click here to get more information on antiaging eye creams.

Two More Remedies

2. Potato-Applesauce Eye Cream: You need to combine 2 tablespoons of unsweetened applesauce and a small raw grated potato. Apply the results around your eyes. You then use a warm water soaked washcloth to cover your eyes with. Make yourself comfortable by lying down and relaxing for a couple of minutes. Then proceed to rinse the mixture off.

Potatoes are known to have natural bleaching properties and have been used successfully to remove dark circles under the eyes. Also known to work are cucumbers and tea bags, which are the two that most people are known to use in place of and in combination with antiaging eye creams.

3. A lanolin based eye cream that can be used to remove dark circles under the eyes made with the following: 1 1/2 tbsp almond oil, 1 tsp powdered lecithin, 1 tbsp lanolin, and 2 tbsp water.

Here's how to prepare it. You start off by melting the lanolin with water over a stove in low heat, then add the almond oil. Remove the mixture from the heat, add the powdered lecithin while adding water in drops. Mix well together and the result is a cream to lighten dark circles under the eyes.
